Stock Market Overview  

The Nigerian Stock Exchange close today shedding by 0.87%  from 20,492.31 to 20,313.36 while the Market Capitalization gained N56.398 billion to close at N6.401trillion from N6.458trillion.

Newgold led on the gainers’ table as it appreciated by N8.00k to close at N2,676.00k as there were 24 gainers today while 17 stocks lost today with Flour mill leading the pack, shedding N2.80k to close at N53.20k. 

UBA was the most active stock for today in terms of volume traded as it traded over 186 million units of its shares valued at N398 million. First Bank emerged the highest traded stock today in terms of value, as trades today were worth N607,721,565.51
